Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using Lenz — Chat Analyzer ("Lenz", "the App", "we", "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Description of Service
Lenz is a mobile application that analyzes text conversations using artificial intelligence. Users can import chat exports from messaging platforms (such as WhatsApp and Telegram), and the App generates insight reports about communication patterns, relationship dynamics, and interaction styles.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 17 years old to use Lenz. By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. The App deals with relationship analysis content that may not be suitable for younger audiences.
3. Account and Authentication
- You sign in using Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID.
- One account per Apple ID. Creating multiple accounts to abuse the service is prohibited.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Purchases and Credits
- Lenz uses a credit system. One credit allows you to generate one analysis report.
- Credits are purchased through Apple In-App Purchases as consumable items.
- All purchases are final. Consumable credits are non-refundable once purchased, as permitted by applicable law.
- Credits are tied to your account and can be restored on a new device by signing in with the same Apple ID.
- Pricing is determined by Apple and may vary by region. We may change pricing at any time for future purchases.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account. For subscription management and refund requests, please contact Apple directly.
5. User Content
When you use Lenz, you may upload text conversations for analysis ("User Content"). You represent and warrant that:
- You have the right to upload the conversation (e.g., you are a participant in the conversation)
- You have obtained consent from the other participant(s) where required by applicable law
- The content does not violate any applicable laws
- You will not upload content involving minors in any romantic or sexual context
We do not monitor or review the content of uploaded conversations. You are solely responsible for the content you submit.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App to:
- Analyze conversations of others without their knowledge or consent
- Stalk, harass, or monitor another person
- Upload content involving minors
- Upload illegal, abusive, or harmful content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Circumvent any security measures or access restrictions
- Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the service
- Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service or generated reports
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
This is important: The analysis reports generated by Lenz are produced by artificial intelligence. They are:
- Not professional advice. Reports are not a substitute for professional psychological, therapeutic, medical, or legal advice.
- Not guaranteed to be accurate. AI analyzes text patterns only. It cannot detect sarcasm, inside jokes, cultural context, or non-verbal communication.
- Not a definitive assessment. Reports represent one possible interpretation of text patterns. They should not be the sole basis for important relationship decisions.
- Generated content. AI may occasionally produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading observations.
We strongly recommend using the reports as a starting point for reflection, not as conclusive evidence of relationship dynamics. If you are experiencing relationship difficulties, please consult a qualified professional.
8. Intellectual Property
- The App, its design, code, and branding are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
- The analysis reports generated for you are yours to use for personal purposes.
- You may not use our trademarks, logos, or branding without written permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI analysis will be accurate.
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.
- Our total liability for any claim arising from the use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
- We are not responsible for any decisions you make based on AI-generated reports.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Termination
- You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time through the in-app settings.
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice.
- Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Any unused credits will be forfeited.
12. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the App and delete your account.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of our business operations. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if unsuccessful, through the competent courts of the relevant jurisdiction.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
